Service poor. steaks were over cooked one was ment to be medium other medium rare both came well done. Also steaks were cold will not be going again
Nice place with friendly staff. We had the steak and it was lovely, steak was cooked to perfection then we had the sticky toffee pudding and it was lovely also, was nice and moist. I will definitely be back.
I was there with a friend for Christmas Lunch. Staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. Atmosphere was lovely. Would certainly recommend to anyone.
Reasonable food, although turkey was very fat. Long time since we were there, think it will be a long time before we back again. Whole restaurant was not busy, I can why.
First asked if we had booked as can be busy. Four people in all the time we were there! My husband enjoyed his main meal whereas mine was 'full' of oil and tasteless apart from only a tiny hint of ginger. The sweet was sparse and again though stated with alcohol could hardly taste it. I think the meals are pot luck depending on what you order. Cook's itself is a lovely comfortable place.
