I would not recommend using The Letting Co Grangemouth, never have I dealt with someone so unprofessional!David frequently misses appointments and when asked why, he is deliberately awkward. He didnt bother to let me know he wasnt going to be at the arranged time and made no apologies for not being there. Instead, he claimed he had made contact, but contact was made much later than the arranged appointments.David took months to get a new lease issued, even after this time the details were still incorrect and this was after a few iterations. Given that he is running a letting agency he should know that a lease is a very basic contract that a leasing agent is responsible for but he doesnt seem to have the ability to get this right.David makes many mistakes but will not admit when he's in the wrong and uses aggression, intimidation and diversion to get himself out of any situation. When asked a direct question as to what has happened he will try to deflect blame away from himself and has a very intimidating manner when doing so. I have been in a situation where the 3 parties to the lease (i.e. myself the tenant, David the leasing agent, and the property owner) have been in a meeting regarding the lease and watched him switch between aggression - towards me - and politeness towards the property owner - whilst in the same conversation! He clearly has had plenty of practice in manipulating things until he gets what he wants.
I have been renting for letting co for a year and half and l must say as a letting agent they are great very understanding one of not many who understands peoples situations change and l would definetly recommend to anyone
Please DO NOT EVER RENT from this company . We rented from them and the house in the bog in Falkirk has so many repairs needed done but David never replies to any phone calls or e-mails and will avoid you at all cost before he eventually gets back to you and promises to get repairs done then you never hear from him again... the house we rented was like the house that jack built . We have just moved out and we handed in our notice for leaving he never replied so we moved out and put the keys for house through his office door ... we still haven't heard anything from him
I would highly recommend NOT to use this agency. We currently live in Australia and placed our trust in the letting company to look after our property in Falkirk. However, in the past two years under the letting companys management only two reports have been supplied. One of which was falsified. Report was sent saying house and garden were in good condition. When in fact the report had pictures of a completely different house. The agent has contacted the tenant once in two years and has not provided any contract paperwork of any kind. No repairs have been carried out which were pointed out in the only inspection carried out to date (November 2016).
Disgraceful company. I will NEVER recommend anyone to do business with this company. David is not at all professional, and you will have more luck winning the lottery than getting him to reply to emails or calls, and if you need a repair done, good luck! It is always everyone else's fault for work not getting done, the tenant, the landlord, the work man, the computer broke, the phone broke, sisters friends granny's aunts friends (the one she has tea with) dog died, and the typical 'oh I arranged it, was it not done?' Don't fall for the charm, that's what he uses to make himself believe his own lies.
